Wolverine Re-Shoots
It was recently revealed that the Wolverine team were back in production doing re-shoots leading to speculation that Fox was finally letting Gavin Hood have his vision. Hugh recently contacted Harry Knowles at Ain’t It Cool News to let him know that this wasn’t strictly the case:

Hey everyone -
It’s Hugh Jackman, sending this note from freezing Vancouver. I have read a lot of your online comments regarding the footage that we are currently shooting and I share your passion for the Wolverine character and the movie – I owe it all to you guys!
I wanted to reach out and let you know that due to scheduling conflicts with certain cast members and location/weather considerations, we had to wait until now to shoot a couple of scenes. Please rest assured that WOLVERINE will be badass and hopefully meet all of your expectations. I am stoked by the positive response to the teaser, which clearly reflects the tone and scope of the film. If you like that, we’ve got much more in store!

well i am not really commenting on the picture but, i thought i would let u no that u are a very good role modle for young boys that look up 2 u. I no that alote of people woul say this 2 u so they cane such up 2 a celebrity but it would be a delight if i met u in person, now i wont be offended if u arn’t up for it but i am here !!U r in the public eye and u aren’t doing any thing stupid and the reason why i no u are a good role modle is because i am one of them.U r my father figure, role modle and my insperation so keep up the good work hugh!!

Aw come on Hugh,,,,Vancouver isn’t “freezing”,.. it’s wet, beautiful, mostly snows up in the mountains and is home to Stanley Park,,,,, but even Wolverine can’t call it freezing. :>) We’ve watched some of the filming over the years and even had a special proud moment when you jumped off the banister in #2 as you and our son had the same trainer/gym where you were awarded “Best Long Jump” in preparation for that scene. We are certainly looking forward to the release of Wolverine partially because it’s a standing date for hubby and I! Good luck. You’ve become a family favourite and we all wish you and yours the very best!!!
