Synopsis: Marty Denniss is Barky, a man returning to his Australian hometown of Erskineville after a two-year absence. However, returning home proves to be more difficult than he had imagined, as his brother Wace (Hugh Jackman) is bitter for leaving him to take the abuse of their father on his own and thinks him a coward, and at the King's Hotel, where Barky and Wace take one beer too many, the conflict between the two brothers escalates to a dangerous level.
