• Synopsis: Profile of a Serial Killer was originally a TV episode titled "Afraid of the Dark" of crime TV series Halifax, f.p., which was released as its own film in the United States. Jane Halifax (Rebecca Gibney) is a forensic psychiatrist investigating the murders of several people at a service station while battling her own, internal demons, at the same time as S.D. Eric Ringer (Hugh Jackman) tries to establish a relationship to Jane which would reach far deeper than profession.
